Safeguarding
Protecting our children and adults in a safe and loving environment is vital to the health of our people and to the church's trustworthy witness. We appreciate your role in that process.
Resurrection’s Safeguarding Practices
We require standard training in line with all the churches in our diocese through Ministry Defender Solutions.
All volunteers serving in ministry to children or youth, along with all clergy, lay staff, and vestry members, are required to be trained and background checked. We encourage every member to participate in the training to create a culture of accountability and clarity.
The training is provided at no cost and is renewed every 3 years.
