LEADERSHIP
Meet Resurrection’s Leadership
Rev’d Josh Barfield
Planting Priest
Josh was born in Eastern, NC, and has called the Triangle/Triad home for the last 12 years. He completed his education at Duke Divinity and planted Resurrection after many good years at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Chapel Hill. He comes to church planting with a heart for pastoral presence and a desire to encourage God’s people through God’s Word and invitation to the table. He loves hosting at his home, cooking BBQ, hanging out at the local brewery, watching movies, and being near the water as often as possible.
Elizabeth Ames-McCrimmon
Parish Administrator
Elizabeth grew up in the rolling hills of Upstate New York, relocating to Burlington for her husband Ben’s Th.D. Talya introduced Ben and Elizabeth to parenthood not too long ago. She sees the necessary and sometimes monotonous work of administration as ministry of intercession and worship. Elizabeth enjoys reading and discussing books, creating, using her gifts and time to serve and care for others, and open-ended visits.
Current Proto-Vestry (Parish Council) Members:
