Resurrection Path
At Resurrection we are all people being formed into the image of Christ. Secure in our salvation, we seek to be disciples who seek to know God and one another more deeply.
To this end we invite every person to follow the Resurrection Pathway to get to know the church, find ways to serve, and grow deeper in their faith.
1
Visit and Worship
Come and participate in our worship. Sing with us, listen to a 20-minute sermon on the appointed scripture, take communion, and stick around for coffee. Jesus says you’ll know his followers by their love for one another (John 13:35). Look for it!
2
REST - Know and Be Known
Newcomers at Resurrection are invited to enter a 6-month season of Sabbath rest. During this time, your only 'responsibility' is to ask questions, experience sacramental worship, and begin knowing others and being known.
During this time consider: Grabbing a coffee with our pastor; signing up for our newsletter to stay up to date; attending a Newcomer’s Gathering where we share the story of Resurrection and answer your questions.
3
Join a Resurrection Life Group
Join a small group for friendship and discipleship. We offer several places for you to engage seasonally, geographically, or based on interest.
Rez Life Groups will launch in the fall.
4
Serve
After getting to know Resurrection, we invite you to serve on a ministry team. There are opprotunities to serve in worship, with children, setup and teardown, and being Christ to the community.
5
Baptism and Confirmation
Baptism is the ancient rite of passage into restored communion with God in heaven and your local church family on earth. You are baptised into Christ and are claimed as His forever. You live into and are nourshied by the Body of Christ in the church.
Confirmation is practice of baptized people making a mature confession of faith and commitment to sharing their faith in service and mission. The Bishop lay hands on your and as you join the “priesthood of all believers.”
